How it works
Three ways to agree a sale.
Some produce is sold the day it is picked. Some is agreed months before it is planted. All three ways run in the same app, and every one of them starts with a verified farm.
Live nowEverything on this page is running today, for fruit and vegetables.
01
Spot listings
Sell what is ready today.
If you farm
You list what you have picked: the product, how much of it, the grade and your price. Buyers see it straight away. When someone orders, the quantity comes off your listing at once, so you cannot sell the same crate twice.
If you buy
You see what is available today and order what you need. Each listing shows the farm, the grade, the price and where it will come from. You are buying from a farm that has already been verified.

02
Tenders
Ask for what you need and let farmers offer.
If you farm
You see what buyers are asking for and send an offer with your price and what you can supply. If the buyer accepts, the offer becomes an order. You do not have to be the cheapest, only the right fit.
If you buy
You publish what you need: product, quantity, the date you need it by, and the price you have in mind. Farmers reply with offers. You compare them side by side and accept the one that suits you.

03
Forward contracts
Agree supply for a season, not for a day.
If you farm
You know what you are growing for and what it will pay before you plant. Deliveries are set out on a schedule, so you can plan your planting and your labour around real dates.
If you buy
You agree quantity, price and a delivery schedule over weeks or months. Each delivery is tracked against the contract, so you can see what has arrived and what is still due.

Before any of that
What is still in the ground.
A sale can be agreed long before there is anything to sell. Farmers record what they have planted, so buyers can see what is coming.
A cropping plan is the crop, the yield the farmer expects, the day it went in and the day they expect to harvest. It moves through these stages as the season goes on.
- Planted
- Growing
- Approaching harvest
- Ready
- Harvested
If you farm
You record what you planted and when you expect to lift it. You choose whether buyers can see it. A plan already promised to a contract is marked, so nobody asks you for a harvest you have already sold.
If you buy
You see harvests weeks or months out, filtered by how far along they are and sorted by which lands soonest. You can hide anything already under contract, and agree a price before the harvest rather than compete for it afterwards.

Questions
Things people ask us.
What can I trade today?
Fruit and vegetables. Livestock and poultry are being built and are not open for trade yet.
What does it cost?
It is free. Joining costs nothing, listing costs nothing, and we do not take a cut of what you sell.
Where do you operate?
Botswana. Farmers and buyers are matched by district and by distance from each other.
How do I know a farmer is genuine?
Every farmer is verified against an Omang or a passport before they can list anything. Verified farms carry a badge, and you can see it on the listing before you buy.
How does payment work?
Money moves directly between the farmer and the buyer, by whatever means you agree. We record on the order whether it has been paid, so both sides keep the same history.
Who handles delivery?
You agree it per order. The farmer can deliver, or the buyer can collect. The order records which it is and tracks it through to confirmed.
Do I need a smartphone?
There is an app for Android and iPhone, and a web version that works in any browser on a phone or a computer.
If you farm, or if you buy, we would like to hear from you.
Tell us who you are and what you grow or buy. We will come back to you about getting on the platform.
